“One” — An Innovative Approach to Construction

During the construction of the “One” residential skyscraper in “Moscow City,” high-strength C440 steel is being used for the first time in Russia. The material is being used for load-bearing columns that reinforce the tower’s monolithic frame.

The new material allows for smaller column dimensions without sacrificing strength. As a result, the building’s usable floor area increases, and steel consumption is reduced by up to 30%. Lighter structures also reduce the load on the foundation. The columns’ unique cross-sectional shape provides an additional advantage. The steel itself is resistant to temperature fluctuations and atmospheric corrosion.

These engineering solutions help bring the complex architectural concept of “One” to life. Project architect Sergey Kuznetsov drew inspiration from the Möbius strip: the tower’s two volumes are connected at the base and at the top. The facades will be made of curved glass with a gold-colored coating. “One” will be one of three MR projects in “Moscow City.” Construction is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2030.

What makes “One” so special?

• Life at the top. Floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows offer views of “Moscow City,” the Moscow River, and the historic city center. The collection features a variety of apartment layouts, including exclusive residences and two-level penthouses.

• A garden among the clouds. At a height of 338 meters, the year-round “Sky Garden” will open. It’s a pleasant place to start your morning with yoga, read in peace, or spend the evening watching the city lights.

• Work and meetings without commuting. Residents have access to a coworking space, a library, and private meeting pods. It’s a convenient place to make a video call, focus on a project, or meet with partners.

• Time for yourself and your loved ones. The complex will feature fitness rooms for individual workouts, spaces for active recreation, and a billiards room with a panoramic view of the city. There are play areas for children, and a private movie theater for evenings spent with loved ones. The lounge is a great place to meet up with friends or host a family brunch.

• City amenities at your fingertips. The tower will feature a shopping arcade, restaurants and cafes, a fitness club, a spa, beauty services, and a preventive medicine clinic. You won’t need to travel to other neighborhoods for daily errands or leisure activities.

• The convenient rhythm of the metropolis. The “Moscow City” metro station is a 1-minute walk away. You can drive to the Kremlin in 10 minutes and to Luzhniki Stadium in 7 minutes.
