“Kult” — a house near Gorky Park
One of my goals is to shoot all the iconic projects and locations in the cities where Whitewill sells real estate. Through photo stories, I try to capture the atmosphere and architectural details of these locations to help our clients find the right place to live or invest.
I’m continuing to sort through photos of new Moscow buildings taken this summer. Today, my iPhone’s lens is focused on the “Kult” club house .
From the building’s entrance, you can head out for a jog in Gorky Park or take a stroll to “Muzeon.” The first is right on the corner of the building, and the second is across the street.
“Kult” is located at the very beginning of Leninsky Prospekt, right on the Garden Ring. It’s a lively area, but one that offers a good variety of lifestyle options.
The project was developed as part of the renovation of the “Warsaw” hotel. Sergey Choban’s “Spich” architectural firm was responsible for the design.
Nine stories. 90 residences. Floor areas ranging from 30 to 330 m². The format is serviced apartments with hotel-style services.
The project was completed this year. The handover was delayed. Apartments sold before the building was completed came fully finished. The remaining units are currently in a "white box" state.
There is a small courtyard near the building, with a fitness center and a hammam on the ground floor. One of the rooftop terraces has been converted into a lounge for residents. The upper floors feature penthouses with terraces and wood-burning fireplaces. The lobby’s interior is quite nice.
There are practically no spots in the underground parking garage, so this building is for those who drive an “Ultima.” Or you can park in the parking lot of the neighboring university.
Apartment prices start at 1.5 million per square meter. Penthouse units with terraces and scenic views are listed at ₽3 million.
In search of fresh angles, I went to Kaluzhskaya Square and took some photos of the building through the colonnade with the Lenin monument. In 1991, they tried to tear down the monument but were unable to do so. The monolithic granite column weighs 360 metric tons.
