A school will open at “Life Time”

The M1 School will open in 2027 in the “Life Time” neighborhood in Presnya. It will be attended by children who want to combine their education with serious pursuits in science, sports, or the arts.

The educational model was developed by a team from the International Coeducational School and the “Olymp-Plus” Private School. The program, designed for students in grades 5–11, will combine in-person and online classes, project-based learning, and digital tools. Some lessons will be taught in English.

Students will be offered three educational tracks:

• “Foundation” will be a program with a strong academic focus and a five-day schedule.

• “Discovery” is designed for students who have not yet decided on their interests or future specialization. In addition to the core program, afternoon classes are provided for them.

• “Talent” is designed for students who are already seriously involved in sports, science, or the arts. They will be provided with individualized curricula and flexible schedules so they can balance their classes with training, research, filming, or rehearsals.

The school plans to involve coaches, academic mentors, sports federations, universities, and other professionals in the creation of these individualized programs.

The school will become part of the “Life Time” neighborhood’s infrastructure. Students will reach it by walking through a 1.8-hectare park.

The three-story school was designed by the architectural firm “Tsimailo Lyashenko & Partners,” which also developed the architectural concept for the neighborhood. The building’s facade resembles a bookshelf thanks to the rhythm of its narrow vertical elements. Textured fiber-reinforced concrete and stmalite are used for the exterior finish, and the classrooms will feature 2.6-meter-tall stained-glass windows with a heat-reflective coating.
