"Respublika" in Presnya
One of my goals is to shoot all the iconic projects and locations in the cities where Whitewill sells real estate. Through photo stories, I try to capture the atmosphere and architectural details of these locations to help our clients find the right place to live or invest.
In 1900, workshops for the railroad were built on Presnensky Val out of beautiful red brick. Here, railcars were repaired and metalwork was carried out.
In 2022, sales of the Republic residential complex began at this location. The project was initiated by the development company “Forma,” and three years later, “Strana” took over.
The scale is impressive: 400,000 m² of residential space, ten residential towers ranging from 24 to 45 stories, and 2,650 apartments.
The master plan was developed by the Meganom architectural firm. The “Reds” buildings, made of red brick with stepped terraces, were designed by Steve Brown, while the light-colored tower was designed by the British firm SimpsonHow.
Londoner Steve Brown clad the “Reds” towers in textured Dutch clinker—warm, red, and with the character of old masonry. From a distance, they appear to be direct descendants of historic workshops, only having grown two dozen stories taller.
The result is an open-air architectural exhibition. Brick, clinker, natural stone, bay windows, winter gardens, and glass.
The historic brick buildings will house a swimming pool beneath historic arches, a spa, a dining complex, a movie theater, an art gallery, and a preschool. A private park and a two-level boulevard will be laid out between the buildings.
The photos show the first phase of the project. It has been completed, and residents are receiving their keys. The “Whiteville” team sold 280 apartments and 4 penthouses here. I don’t think anyone will be able to do better than that.
Apartment prices currently start at ₽36 million. The price per square meter starts at ₽930,000. We have great offers on resale units in completed buildings, as well as special discounts on the phase currently under construction.
