"Life Time" Architecture
Presnya wasn’t always a quiet, green neighborhood. A century ago, factories hummed and machines clattered here at the Trekhgornaya Manufactory. Today, the area is undergoing a transformation similar to that of London’s SoHo in the late 20th century.
Former workshops and industrial buildings have given way to trendy restaurants, creative offices, and a new urban lifestyle. And the architecture of the “Life Time” district has become the voice of these changes.
This upscale district is a model of luxurious minimalism from a renowned architectural firm. The project does not attempt to overshadow the site’s history. The architects eschewed decorative clutter in favor of clean lines, glass, and concrete.
The project’s defining feature is its ultra-slim, elegant towers with jewel-like proportions. The minimalist glass facades, framed in Schüco aluminum profiles, make the massive structures seem to dissolve into the sky. It seems as though the buildings are woven from air and light.
The glass surfaces reflect the clouds and sunbeams, as well as the city’s movement, transforming each tower into a living sculpture.
The facades are a play of textures and reflections. They form a complex composition of materials that invite close examination.
Anodized aluminum shimmers in the sun, handmade ceramic tiles add warmth and tactile appeal, and textured architectural concrete creates depth and contrast.
On the upper floors are villas with accent terraces and lighting. From here, all of Moscow lies at your feet: Stalinist skyscrapers, the Government Building, and Moscow City.
“Life Time” in Presnya is a special state of being, a way of life—the morning sunlight gliding across the wall and a sense of freedom. Here, true value is born through proportion, light, materials, and impeccable craftsmanship—without unnecessary fuss or pretension.
