Deal of the Week: Partner Earned 12.2 million ₽
Our partner, a banker in Private Banking, approached us with a request from a client. The client needed to find a high-end apartment for personal use.
After our initial discussion, we realized that “Vorontsov Residences” was a good fit for the project. The project had just hit the market, so the client hadn’t considered it in detail before. We prepared a preliminary proposal and presented it to our partner.
The partner played a crucial role here. He didn’t just pass the client’s contact information on to us; he helped organize the initial communication: he introduced Whitewill, piqued the client’s interest in the project, and arranged a meeting.
This was particularly important because the buyers are very busy: both spouses hold executive positions at major Russian corporations. They were only willing to set aside time for a meeting after they were convinced that the offer truly met their needs.
We had worked through the project options in advance and prepared for the meeting. During the meeting, we provided a detailed overview of “Vorontsov Residences,” went over the floor plans, apartment specifications, and purchase terms.
The client liked the project, and negotiations then began on a specific transaction. In addition to the apartment, the buyer acquired parking spaces and a storage unit. They were selecting the property for themselves, so they discussed in detail the aspects that were particularly important for their future living situation.
It took about a week to finalize the terms. Ultimately, the deal was signed for 244.2 million ₽. The partner’s commission amounted to 12.2 million ₽, or 5% of the transaction amount.
