"Smainex" to Invest 1 Billion Rubles
“Sminex” is restoring the historic building of the Moscow Woolen Weaving Factory on Petra Alekseeva Street. The building is part of the architectural complex of the Sofia Saks factory, built in 1900. The developer will allocate 1 billion rubles for the building’s restoration.
One of the most costly stages was the restoration of the brickwork: manually sorting the bricks accounted for about 30% of the budget. Once the work is complete, the building will house offices and a shopping gallery. The first and second floors will house the retail area, including a café with an area of 3,858 m²; the remaining two floors will be occupied by 52 offices with arched windows.
A separate space is planned within the 27.6-meter-tall water tower. It has been restored, including the upper section with the drum, and the interior will house an office with two mezzanines and 7.3-meter-high ceilings. The business center is scheduled to open in 2027.
