New Walking Trail Near “Ostrov”
A new walking trail has been created along the Moskva River in the Mnevnikovskaya floodplain. Seven recreational areas with observation decks and pergolas have been set up here, and a playground and a sculpture installation have been installed on the upper level.
The decking was assembled on a metal frame secured to more than 1,600 piles. After dark, the trail is illuminated by streetlights and architectural lighting.
The trail complements the natural surroundings of the “Ostrov” residential complex by “Donstroy.” The project brings together business-class and premium-class neighborhoods near the river and the “Moskvoretsky” Natural Park.
