How “City Bay” Has Been Transformed

“City Bay,” located on the banks of the Spassky Reservoir, is gradually becoming one of the most prominent residential neighborhoods in this part of Moscow. The first phase is already occupied, the second is nearing completion, and a two-kilometer-long waterfront promenade is taking shape along the river.

The first phase—“Indian”—includes 8 buildings ranging from 19 to 52 stories. All buildings have already been completed. The architecture was designed by the Kamen architectural firm. The buildings are connected by landscaped plinths, and one of the high-rise towers features an observation deck.

The inner courtyards are a place for the whole family to relax. They feature gazebos and rotundas, playgrounds, and spaces for sports.

The second phase is “Atlantic.” It consists of three buildings, two of which are already operational. The architectural concept was developed by the SPICH architectural firm. The public spaces are designed in shades reminiscent of the seashore. The courtyards feature plenty of greenery and quiet places to relax.

A special feature of the project is the Moscow River promenade. The walking path will stretch for two kilometers and connect the various phases of “City Bay.” Tables, lounge chairs, pontoons, and piers are already being installed here. Morning walks, jogs along the water, and evenings by the river will become a regular part of residents’ lives.

The neighborhood will also see the opening of a new building for the Kurchatov School, designed for 815 students. The facility will feature laboratories and an information technology training center.
