“Vorontsov Residences” is a deluxe club-style residential complex consisting of two buildings on Obukha Lane, on the border of the Tagansky and Basmanny districts. The BLANK architectural firm drew inspiration from Moscow Art Nouveau and Russian ornamental patterns. The asymmetrical facades are adorned with pilasters, relief tiles, and fluted arches. The railings on the balconies and terraces are made of metal.
On the weekend, take a stroll through the quiet streets of the Tagansky District and admire the 18th- and 19th-century estates. Merchants and nobles once lived here: the Morozovs, Kaptsovs, Khudovs, and Dolgorukys. In 6 minutes, you’ll reach Pokrovsky Boulevard, Nikoloyamskaya Embankment, and the Usachev-Naidenov Estate Park, which features a section of the Berlin Wall.
