Whitewill team's winter journey
The Whitewill team spent this weekend together in Dubai.
If you look up the origin of the word "team" in an etymological dictionary, you'll see in the origins the Latin commendare, which breaks down into three parts -com "together," -manus "hand," -dare "to give."
Combining these three senses into one, we get "giving each other hand" or "passing from hand to hand." And we can confidently say that we make a great team in the truest sense of the word.
On vacation, without the strict suits and office shell, people reveal themselves in new ways. We've heard that unknowingly employees of some companies can't look each other in the eye after extended corporate parties or overseas trips because of the excessive drinking, saying, doing. Team building turns into team building. After our four days of vacation, we can safely say that the team is tighter and we are not ashamed of any of the employees.
On this trip we took not only brokers who closed deals in a record month of 2019, but also guys from marketing, mortgage, hr, database and project department. Half of the group was in Dubai for the first time.
We wanted to fill the team's vacation with experiences that would pump up the employees' possession and create in them even more reality with the interesting world of luxury and aesthetic pleasures in which the company operates. So one of the days we rented a boat for 25 people and went on a small sea voyage, turned up the music louder and just danced right on the bow of the yacht. It was heartwarming.
By the time we got back, there were supercars waiting for us outside the hotel. We drove to the desert and there guys could really let off steam and feel the adrenaline behind the wheel of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mustang and ride on the sands on Gelik. It turned out that for some it was a dream since childhood. Emotions were genuine and sincere.
