The “Roden” residential complex is an intimate, deluxe-class club house located within a historic neighborhood—not a new landmark in the Basmanny District—near Chistye Prudy. The club house is classified as deluxe—the project consists of only 22 units, which underscores its intimate atmosphere in contrast to large-scale complexes with hundreds of apartments.
The architecture of the “Roden” Residential Complex was designed by the WALL architectural firm. The facade is based on the “brick veil” concept: its pleated form without right angles resembles drapery, while the hand-molded, curved bricks highlight the quality of the craftsmanship. At the start of the project, the building was known by the working title “Veil Residential Complex”—a reference to the same veil motif—and it was only upon going on sale that it received the name “Roden.”
Apartments in the “Rodin” building feature ceilings starting at 3.2 meters and panoramic windows. A residential complex like this is not built for mass development: the windows face the inner courtyard, Bolshoy Kharitonyevsky Lane, or Chistoprudny Boulevard. The finishes in the units are provided by the developer, with the option for individual customization, and the number of apartments is limited to that of a club house.
The car-free courtyard functions as a private garden: the building stands set back from the lane, with natural stone paths winding through trees and shrubs, and seating areas with benches. Residents have access to concierge services, cleaning services, and a maintenance team for household issues, and the underground parking garage with 22 spaces is connected by an elevator to the floor lobby.
The value of the “Roden” Residential Complex’s location lies in its proximity to Chistye Prudy: it’s a five-minute walk to Chistoprudny Boulevard and about a six-minute walk to the “Krasnye Vorota” metro station. The historic architecture of the Basmanny District has been preserved in Chistye Prudy and the nearby side streets. Within an 8–10-minute walk are the “Chistye Prudy,” “Turgenevskaya,” and “Sretensky Boulevard” are all within an 8–10-minute walk: this is a major transit hub, and Chistye Prudy connects to two other metro lines here. For those traveling by car, there are nearby exits to the Sadovoye and Bulvarnoe Rings.
