Redside. Family quarter on Presnya
Oleg Torbosov, founder of Whitewill, tells us.
I spent most of the Moscow period of my life in Presnya. That's why I love this part of the city in a special way. The Presnya district is one of the largest in Moscow. It starts in the City, whose skyscrapers are an important part of Presnya, follows the embankment through the White House, the Moscow Zoo and, taking in the premium Patriarchal Ponds, only a few streets short of the Kremlin. From above, Presnya's boundaries slide along the TTC and with its Georgian rampart it rests on Belorussky Station Square.
I've been living in the City for the last four years. I won't let you in on a big secret if I tell you that the towers are not designed for living with small children.
On the busy streets of the City, you can ceremoniously park your Maybach or Ferrari, walk in a Louis Vuitton tracksuit to one of the six local fitness centers, sit on a restaurant terrace overlooking the skyscrapers, but walking with a stroller is a no-go.
Predictably, there isn't even a single playground here. This is, after all, a business center, and the people who live here are mostly those who don't have children yet, those whose children are already adults, or those growing up rich children-bloggers themselves, making their fortunes on YouTube or in Tiktok.
But one should move away from the City literally a few hundred meters towards the cozy Presnya Park, and the situation changes. Presnya turns into a quiet family district with modern residential neighborhoods, playgrounds, schools, squares and parks.
When it became known that Katya and I were expecting Bogdan, I realized that I did not want to move far away from the City, where most of my business life takes place. It became a challenge to choose which house my son would grow up in.
I know all the new apartment complexes in Presnya very well. I rejected the shabby houses from the 90s at once and our final choice began to revolve around two finalists: "City Park" and "Redside".
"City Park" is closer to the City, but in terms of quality of landscaping, construction, infrastructure, lobby finishes, occupancy and composition of residents, it is inferior to "Redside" as a Toyota Raf 4 is inferior to a new Porsche Cayenne in terms of aesthetics. Yes, the lovely Lucky is under construction nearby, where Wytheville has been number one in sales for two years, and three more large-scale residential neighborhoods from Inteko, Smynex, and Peak are scheduled to start. But Bogdan will be 1.5 months away and we didn't want to wait for construction to finish at this stage.
In the end, we took a ready-made apartment in "Rayside". Today Katya is moving her things from St. Petersburg to Moscow, and I'm sharing with you pictures from the green summer streets of the neighborhood, caught in the lens of my iPhone camera.
A private two-hectare green courtyard with several playgrounds, tournaments, basketball and soccer court. On the territory of a private kindergarten, "Worldclass" with a 50-meter pool and an area for kids, "Azbuka Tastes", several restaurants, a clinic, a beauty salon and a children's center. In general, what you need for the first year of life of a small one. In our case, all the repairs are already done, so sleep will be quiet.
By the way, Redside was the first complex we started selling when we launched Wytheville in 2016 The developer of the project is Insigma, where we have been the top seller for two years now.
