Krasnogvardeyskie Ponds. Cooler than Patriki and Chistye

When Moscow residents hear the word "ponds", the popularized Patriarshie and Chistye immediately come to mind, but certainly not Krasnogvardeyskie, although the latter are also coolly located in the Central Administrative District, and in size and level of coziness exceed the first two combined.

And if on Patriarshie and Chistye instead of the word "ponds" it is more correct to say "pond" in the singular, because there is only one pond there. But here we have three ponds.

Krasnogvardeiskie ponds are a continuation of the park "Krasnaya Presnya" and stretch for more than a kilometer from the boundary of the park in the area of Krasnogvardeysky proezd to Zvenigorodskoye highway.

If we were looking for a space in Moscow that most closely resembles New York's Central Park in mood, this green area with skyscrapers towering nearby would be as close as possible to that iconic place in mood.

The organization of the space of this recreation area was handled by Wowhouse bureau. The guys managed to build two top playgrounds for children of different ages, a vorkout zone with street fitness equipment, a playground for adults with chess and tennis tables, a large fenced area for dogs with various training equipment and obstacles.

On the perimeter of the upper pond stretched wooden walking and rubberized running paths, in the center of the amphitheater with a stage, cafes, a lot of benches and recliners of different formats, street tables, well, and honest thick greenery.

The park zone begins near the still under construction towers "Capital Towers", along the lower pond stands not so long ago commissioned "City Park", further we see the humble candle "Happiness on Presnya", and on the other side of the ponds begin noble stone facades of "Redside" and "Elleven".

In the next few quarters we are expecting another super premiere in this location - a large residential complex on Sergei Makeev. The developer has already shown us the project - it will be wow.
